CHILLING footage captured the moment traumatised Ukrainian kids screamed and ran in terror as Putin unleashed a hypersonic blitz on Kyiv.

The attack came as Russia fired two  “unstoppable” Dagger hypersonic missiles from the annexed Crimean peninsula this morning.

The catastrophic ballistic missiles, which can fly at ten times the speed of sound, rocked Kyiv early yesterday as waves of drones pounded other targets leaving Ukraine struggling to resist the onslaught.

The Ukrainian air defence systems were able to down two Russian ballistic missiles but metal debris crashed all around injuring people in the capital.

Dramatic footage shows traumatised school kids running for their lives as loud booms from the missile cash rumbled through the sky.

The kids near the playground were most likely busy playing outdoor sports when Brutal Vlad launched the attack on Ukraine’s capital.

They can be heard screaming in horror as they try to escape the open sky and seek safe shelter.

Ukrainian foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba posted footage purporting to show school children running to a shelter at the time of the attack.

“This is a reminder that Ukraine urgently requires more air defence, particularly Patriot systems and missiles capable of repelling any Russian attack,” he wrote.

A woman can also be seen running helplessly to find a safe place.

Kyiv’s Mayor Vitali Klitschko said that 10 people were wounded in the horror attack, including a teenage girl and two pregnant women.

He wrote on social media: “Two of them were hospitalised. The rest were treated at the scene. Rescuers continue to clear the rubble.”

Soon after the attack, emergency workers were seen wearing hard helmets clearing concrete and bent metal from one building ripped open during the attack.

Officials said the falling debris severely damaged an arts academy building and a gym.

A three-storey building was also partly wrecked by the attack – and the street outside the building was littered with bricks and cars coated in a thick layer of dust.

President Volodymyr Zelensky said the attack showed again that Ukraine needs better air defence systems from its allies.

“It means safety for our cities and saved human lives. All of us in the world who respect and protect life need to stop this terror,” he wrote on social media.

Moscow has escalated its aerial attacks on Kyiv, targeting key infrastructure in the wake of fatal Ukrainian bombardments on Russian border regions.

The hypersonic attack comes as Putin’s state propaganda machine continues to blame Ukraine for the Moscow concert hall terrorist outrage

Russia rejected the US’s clear confirmation that Islamic State offshoot ISIS-K was behind the horror in which at least 137 rock fans died on Friday.

Putin’s goons are insisting four terrorists – who have appeared badly beaten in court – were heading for a pre-planned “crossing point” into Ukraine after the concert bloodbath.

Fears grew that the suspects would have been tortured into fake confessions implicating Ukraine after one was said to have been ordered to eat part of his own severed ear during interrogation.

Putin – desperate to deflect blame for the terror attack from his security services after ignoring UK and US warnings – is also smarting after losing two Black Sea warships.

Russia will “kill” the terrorist suspects from the Moscow massacre, vowed close Putin ally Dmitry Medvedev.

The threat – also applying to any sympathisers of the perpetrators – comes before they have faced trial and despite Russia having a moratorium on the use of the death penalty.

“They were caught. Well done to everyone who caught them,” said Medvedev, deputy head of Putin’s security council and former Russian president and prime minister.

“Should they be killed? Necessary. And it will be.

“But it is much more important to kill everyone involved.

“Everyone, who paid, who sympathised, who helped. Kill them all.”

Just before the terror attack in Moscow, Putin unleashed hell on Ukranian civilians using an arsenal of 150 devastating weapons designed to blitz warships and infrastructure.

The attack by Russia appeared to be the largest launched since the Russian tyrant, 71, invaded Ukraine in February 2022.

Eighty-eight missiles and 66 drones were allegedly used in the air attack which could have been Russia’s biggest against Ukraine – ever.

Among the munitions used in the overnight blitz were 66 Shahed-136/131 one-way attack drones, 40 Kh-101/555 air-launched cruise missiles, and 22 S-300/400 tactical ballistic missiles, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

Russia also allegedly employed 12 Iskander-M ballistic missiles, seven Kh-47M2 “Kinzhal” hypersonic missiles, five Kh-22 long-range anti-ship missiles, and two Kh-59 land-attack cruise missiles in the attack.

The deadly £4.5million “Kinzhal” rockets which Putin reportedly used against civilians have previously been described by the despot as “an ideal weapon”, capable of travelling at 12 times the speed of sound.
