A MONSTER child rapist has a permanent reminder of his victim’s name tattooed on to his forehead.
The evil man, Anthony Ray Stockelman, was pinned down in jail by none other than the murdered 10-year-old’s cousin.
Katie was 10-years-old when she was assaulted and murdered by the evil Stockelman[/caption]Stockelman is serving a life sentence after he kidnapped, assaulted and brutally murdered Katlyn “Katie” Collman.
The prison ink reads “Katie’s Revenge”.
Stockelman confessed to kidnapping, assaulting and killing Katie from Indiana in 2005 after she had disappeared for five days.
Her body was later found in a creek, 15 miles from her home in Indianapolis.
Unluckily for him, Stockelman was sent to the same prison as Katie’s cousins, Jarred Harris.
It was at the Wabash Valley Correction Facility where Harris waited in the evil killer’s cell so he could exact his revenge.
At the time, prison officials would not confirm how Stockelman was tattooed but said an inmate was identified as a suspect in the assault.
Two prison guards also fired at the time for making “unauthorised copies of an evidence photo”.
According to Express US Harris was incarcerated for burglary.
The permanent act of revenge meant that Harris was charged with battery after he tattooed his cousin’s name on Stockelman’s head.
Another man, Charles Hickman was initially charged with the young girl’s murder.
He claimed to police that Katie had witnessed some drug activity and that he dragged her into his trailer, further stating he had wanted to scare her into silence and took her to the creek in the middle of the night.
He said that she accidentally drowned and he fled from the scene.
However inconsistencies in his confession and DNA evidence from a discarded cigarette proved that father-of-three Stockelman was the culprit.
Stockelman ultimately took a plea deal to serve a life sentence, allowing him to avoid the death penalty.
He was sentenced to a life sentence and and received an additional 30 years for molesting Katie.
At the time, many people in the area reportedly felt disappointed that he wasn’t sentenced to death.
One local Marsha Fink reportedly said: “I’d rather see him get the death penalty for what he did to the little girl but at least he’s going to be punished.”
