A BRIT tourist was found dead in the sea on a popular holiday island on Boxing Day, an inquest heard today.
Steven Burns, 44, is thought to have drowned in Bali, Indonesia.
But North West Wales coroner Kate Robertson said: “Further evidence is awaited from overseas in terms of the circumstances.”
She adjourned the inquest to a date to be fixed.
The tragedy happened at the island’s Kuta beach, which is a magnet for holidaymakers.
A funeral for Steven was held last week in his hometown of Holyhead on the isle of Anglesey.
Tributes on social media described him as a “lovely lad”.
At the time of his disappearance his family made desperate appeals on Facebook for any information about what might have happened.
