Berri said during his meeting with the Secretary-General and members of the General Union of Arab Writers, at the headquarters of the Second Presidency in Ain al-Tineh in the center of the capital, Beirut, that “the fall of Palestinian-Arab geography, God forbid, will not only be the fall of Palestine, but rather the fall of Arab national security and the fall of all of humanity, which is tested every day.” In view of its failure to curb Israel's aggression.

He stressed that "what gives reason for hope is that Palestine is not alone, as stakeholders from all the Arab world meet in Lebanon in support of Palestine and in rejection of the war of extermination launched by Israel against children, women and the elderly in the Gaza Strip, the latest of which is the terrorist massacre committed yesterday against the displaced in northern Gaza."
