NATO chief defends Ukraine's defense, exports of long-range missiles

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg defended Ukraine's right to defend itself and welcomed French and British shipments of long-range weapons to Ukraine, which to date Germany has not provided.

It is important to remember what is happening with Russia's war against Ukraine, the NATO chief said.

Ukraine's right to defend itself is enshrined in the United Nations Charter, Stoltenberg said on Monday on the sidelines of a ceremony to welcome Sweden into NATO.
