New Delhi : Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has recovered the largest consignment of drugs till date. Indian Navy and Narcotics Control Bureau jointly carried out this operation. During this operation, 3300 kg of different types of drugs have been recovered. Besides, 5 foreign nationals have also been arrested. Earlier, 3000 kg of drugs were recovered at Mundra Port in Gujarat. NCB will hold a press conference in this matter today.

The five accused detained from the captured ship are suspected to be Pakistanis.
A Navy spokesperson posted on social media platform "A suspicious boat was intercepted. This is the largest consignment of drugs seized in recent times." The post said, "This information was received by the P81 LRMR aircraft deployed on surveillance mission and also confirmed by the NCB, after which the mission deployed warship of the Indian Navy was diverted to intercept and capture the suspicious boat."(NDTV)
Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assemblies meeting, oath taking, election of Speaker will be held

PTI-backed newly elected member Ali Amin Gandapur is the nominee for the Chief Ministership from the Sunni Ittehad Council, while Aqibullah, the newly elected member of the Sunni Ittehad Council from the province, is the candidate for the post of Speaker.

The caretaker government of Sindh province was dissolved
According to a notification issued by the Sindh government on Wednesday evening, the caretaker provincial government consisting of 11 caretaker ministers of the province has been dissolved.
All assemblies will come into being on February 29: Election Commission
The Election Commission of Pakistan has said in a statement on Tuesday that 'all the assemblies will come into being on February 29, 2024.'
The Election Commission says that under Articles 91 and 130 of the Constitution, the first sitting of all assemblies must be held within 21 days after the elections.
"Under Article 41 (4) of the Constitution, the election of the President of Pakistan must be done within 30 days after holding the general elections."
The Election Commission will release the schedule and public notice for the election of the President on March 1, 2024. A day will be fixed for submission of nominations under the Constitution. According to the proposed program, candidates will be able to submit their nomination papers to any presiding officer by 12:00 on March 2.
