The occupation forces also blew up dozens of homes there, while artillery vehicles have continued to bomb the neighborhood since Tuesday morning.
Israeli warplanes bombed a house for the Abu Safiya family in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City, resulting in a fire in the place and a number of martyrs and wounded.
Earlier Tuesday, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the Israeli occupation army had committed 3 massacres in the Strip during the past 24 hours, of which 25 martyrs and 80 wounded were brought to hospitals, raising the war’s death toll to 37,372 martyrs and 85,452 wounded since October 7. First past.
The occupation army stated in a statement yesterday, Tuesday, that "the forces of the 99th Division continue to fight (the incursion) into the center of the Gaza Strip, in conjunction with the fighting of the forces of the 162nd Division in the Rafah area." The statement indicated that "face-to-face clashes occurred between Palestinian fighters and soldiers of the Givati Brigade within the 162nd Division in the Rafah area."
He added: "In recent hours, the Air Force has continued to launch raids on dozens of targets in the Gaza Strip," which are usually raids targeting safe civilians in their homes.
Violent bombing on the Central Governorate
Meanwhile, the occupation army intensified its bombing of all areas of the Gaza Strip, on the third day of Eid al-Adha, and the Palestinian News Agency “Wafa” said that ambulance crews recovered the bodies of 13 martyrs and a number of wounded, as a result of the occupation targeting a house and shops in the Nuseirat camp in the center of the Gaza Strip.
The occupation aircraft carried out a series of raids on the Al-Mughraqa area and the vicinity of the Wadi Gaza area, north of the Nuseirat camp, in addition to targeting agricultural land in the vicinity of the Al-Mufti area, north of the camp. The occupation aircraft also carried out raids targeting the eastern area of the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip and the Tal al-Hawa and al-Zaytoun neighborhoods in Gaza City. Al-Bureij camp also witnessed an air strike, which led to the death of a number of Palestinians and the wounding of others.
Medical sources at the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the city of Deir al-Balah (central) said that 13 martyrs and a number of wounded, most of them women and children, arrived at the hospital after Israeli aircraft bombed civilian homes in the Nuseirat and Bureij camps. Local media also reported that engineering units in the occupation army were blowing up a number of buildings in the Tal Al-Sultan neighborhood, west of Rafah.
Other medical sources announced the death of a Palestinian and the injury of another in a bombing by an Israeli drone that targeted Al-Sahaba Street in the center of Gaza City. Meanwhile, two Palestinians were killed in an Israeli bombing that targeted the town of Al-Qarara, east of the city of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip, according to medical sources at the “Gaza European Hospital” in the city.
3,500 children are at risk of death
In addition to the violent Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip, the worsening famine among Palestinians, especially children, worsens the humanitarian situation in Gaza. In this regard, the government media office said, in a statement on Tuesday, that Gaza “is rapidly heading towards famine, and the (Israeli) occupation and the American administration are leading a conspiracy to prevent aid and goods from reaching our people, and we demand immediate and urgent international intervention to stop this crime.”
The office warned that "3,500 children are at risk of death due to malnutrition and the lack of nutritional supplements and vaccinations, which have become prohibited from entering the Gaza Strip." He explained that "the crime of preventing the entry of aid and food as a tool for political pressure by the occupation and the American administration has significantly doubled the suffering in all governorates of the Gaza Strip. Even markets and shops are suffering from a drought of goods and commodities."
He also called on "the international community and international and international organizations to stand up to their responsibilities and take a courageous stance by imposing immediate and urgent international intervention to stop this crime, which will kill hundreds of thousands of civilians, children and patients."
He called for "opening the Rafah crossing and Kerem Shalom crossing (south), bringing in aid and goods, and ending the ongoing genocidal war for the ninth month in a row."
On May 7, the Israeli army took control of the Rafah crossing, a day after Tel Aviv announced the start of a military operation in the city crowded with displaced people, which exacerbated the humanitarian situation due to the scarcity of aid. As a result of the war and Israeli restrictions that violate international laws, the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip suffer from a severe scarcity of food, water and medicine supplies, which has reached the point of recording deaths from hunger.
