THE family of a missing Brit have been told human remains and his wallet have been found near where he vanished.
Korhan Berzeg, 83, did not return to his Turkish holiday home after taking his dog for a walk in June last year.

After the discovery in Balikesir Gonen — around three miles from where he started his walk — his daughter, Nisa, 50, said: “We have news.
“Not good news perhaps, but news.”
As DNA tests are done on the remains Nisa has flown from London to be with her mum in Turkey.
She said: “We have news. Not good news perhaps, but news.
“We don’t know much yet but we have been told my dad’s wallet has been found and his personal effects along with human remains 5km from the village.
“I mourned months ago… in a way this may be a better outcome for the ones left alive like my mum.”
Korhan had not been heard from for 312 days when the find was made after months of fruitless police searches over hundreds of square miles.
The bones were discovered by Turkish local Ahmet Gülay as he probed a problem with his village’s drinking water supply.
Gülay said: “There was a problem with the water in our neighborhood and we thought there was a burst in the pipes.
“While we were looking for the route where the pipes passed, we saw the clothes.
“A card with Korhan Berzeg’s photo used in public transportation was found in his pocket.
“His photo was intact. His credit card was in his wallet. There were bones a metre away from his clothes. There was no skull. We immediately informed the gendarmerie.”
