Nosana, a leading AI computing platform is excited to announce the launch dates of its upcoming mainnet, promising enhanced security and developer tools for seamless integration.
According to the Nosana team, the mainnet has been scheduled for January 13, 2025. When launched, the mainnet will help users access decentralized GPU resources. This access will enable users to unlock crucial power and efficiency for AI inference workloads. The mainnet comes with new features and significant improvements, including the Nosana Console, Client SDK, Dynamic Pricing, Advanced Job to Node Matching, and Unrestricted GPU Grid Access.
In the last year, the team behind the project has tirelessly conducted rigorous testing in preparation for full-scale development. During this period, the network has engaged with over 4k nodes from 60 countries across the globe. The project has tapped into a global GPU provider network to gain valuable insight from the various AI projects. The actively growing Nosana community has also helped tremendously in testing refining and preparing the platform for the mainnet release.
Commenting on the upcoming mainnet, Jesse Eisses, co-founder of Nosana, stated:
“When we first envisioned Nosana, we imagined a world where AI computing would be decentralized, accessible, and limitless—a place where developers could access GPU resources without the traditional barriers of centralized infrastructure. We recognized early on that existing AI computing solutions were too centralized or too complex, limiting innovation. Our mission from the start was to create a decentralized network that offers scalable, affordable, and open AI computing resources for the next generation of builders and innovators. We are excited to take Nosana to the next level with its mainnet launch, offering full access to decentralized GPU computing.”
Nosana is a peer-to-peer compute marketplace created to power decentralized computing and drive the future of AI. The platform offers on-demand GPU access for AI projects and a global network of compute providers for companies and developers.
In the coming week, Nosana plans to begin its final stage of testing that will focus on implementing staking, refining pricing models, and ensuring the platform is fully prepared for the launch. Set for September 30, 2024, the Test Grid Phase 3 is the last opportunity to test critical components of the platform before the mainnet goes live.
Following the mainnet launch, Nosana plans to hold its first global hackathon in Q2 of 2025. This event will invite developers and startups to explore new applications for AI inference on its decentralized GPU grid.
