NY judge delays Trump sentencing in Stormy Daniels case until after US election

As requested by Donald Trump's lawyers, New York judge Juan Merchan decided on Friday to postpone the Republican presidential candidate's sentencing in the Stormy Daniels hush money trial until after the November 5 election. Trump had been scheduled to be sentenced on September 18 for falsifying business records in a scheme to silence the porn star's politically damaging story.
