OpenAI is launching its new AI model this year

OpenAI has announced that it plans to launch its new Sora AI model this year.

Regarding the topic, the company’s technology director, Mira Moratti, said: “OpenAI plans to launch the Sora model to all users this year. This matter may take several months, but it will happen later this year.”

Moratti indicated that the Sora artificial intelligence model is currently available to a limited number of programmers and video content makers through special invitations provided by the company, and is being tested to be safer and more useful for users before its official launch.

According to Moratti, Sora can now create video clips based on the user's desire, but these clips are still without sounds currently, so this software will be developed to provide integrated video clips.

Regarding the data and images that OpenAI uses in developing Sora, Moratti said: “The new model is being developed through the content provided by the Shutterstock platform, with which our company had previously concluded agreements and obtained licenses.”
