Over 30 killed as rain lashes parts of Pakistan

More than 30 people have died and thousands of schools have closed due to heavy rain in Pakistan. The continuous downpours since Thursday have caused major disruption in various parts of the country. In Balochistan province, all schools will remain closed until Thursday. ​​Tragically, 26 individuals, including 18 children, perished in the northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province due to collapsed buildings.
