Palestinian Presidency: Without Washington’s support, Netanyahu would not have dared to continue the aggression and genocide

Palestinian presidential spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeina confirmed that the “biased and immoral” American support for Israel prompted Netanyahu to dare to challenge international legitimacy and international law and continue the war.

Abu Rudeina said in response to Netanyahu’s statements in which he said that the war was continuing and that the invasion of Rafah would take place soon: “If it had not been for the biased and immoral American support in favor of the occupation, Netanyahu would not have dared to challenge international legitimacy and international law by insisting on continuing the aggression and committing more genocide against it.” Palestinian people".

He added, "The blind American bias towards Israel, protecting it from punishment and submitting to international legitimacy has proven that Washington has become an accomplice to Netanyahu in his crimes that claimed the lives of thousands of our people, and bears full responsibility for continuing the crimes of genocide."

Abu Rudeina pointed out that "the American administration is required to intervene immediately and oblige the Israeli occupation authorities to stop their crimes, most importantly preventing the Israeli occupation from invading Rafah, which will have very dangerous repercussions on the entire region and the world."

The Palestinian presidential spokesman stressed the need for "urgent intervention by the international community to prevent Israel from continuing its aggression, and to hold it accountable for the crimes that violated all international legitimacy resolutions and constituted war crimes that must be punished by the occupation leaders."

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a meeting with the families of the dead and Israeli prisoners on Tuesday, in the Prime Minister’s Office in Jerusalem: “We will enter Rafah and we will eliminate the Hamas brigades there, and this will happen with or without an agreement.”

He added: "The idea that we will stop the war before achieving all its goals is out of the question. We will enter Rafah and eliminate the Hamas brigades there -  with or without an agreement,  to achieve comprehensive victory."

Hebrew media focused on the Israeli army's invasion of Rafah, as the file witnessed a great acceleration in events after Tel Aviv approved the Rafah plan for the fourth time after addressing American reservations.

Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz said that  it is possible to postpone the invasion of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip  if an agreement is reached to release Israeli prisoners held by the Hamas movement.

The Hamas movement announced yesterday, Friday, that it  had received Israel's official response  to the movement's position, which was delivered to the Egyptian and Qatari mediators on April 13, regarding the prisoner exchange deal and the ceasefire in Gaza.
