A PERVERT teacher, 46, used hall passes to groom a 14-year-old boy for sex on graduation day after following him on Instagram.
The family of the boy has alleged in a new lawsuit that the teen was left traumatised by now-convicted sex offender Michelle Christine Solis.
The disgraced educator was a teacher at Sycamore Middle School, California, where the family claims failed to protect the boy from being groomed and sexually assaulted by Solis.
She allegedly forced the young boy into sex on his eighth-grade graduation day and gave him a lunch and recess pass in a bid to win him over.
The mum-of-two allegedly befriended the pupil by messaging him via DM on Instagram and chatted to him for weeks before their first encounter, official documents claim.
Solis is also alleged to have taken the student into a classroom on his graduation day before locking the door and coercing him into sex.
She then sent pictures to him of their meet-up and instructed the teen to delete the conversation, Butte County District Attorney’s Office says.
Nude images of the teacher spread around the town of Gridley before cops looked through the boy’s phone.
There they found messages to the teacher and two naked images.
New allegations in the suit obtained by the Sacramento Bee also claim Solis organised meet-ups with the student under the guise of helping him with his homework – just for the pair to spend alone time together.
The lawsuit claims the Gridley Unified School District failed to properly monitor Solis’ behaviour and didn’t train other teachers to properly detect grooming.
The affected family are seeking “general damages and other non-economic relief” for the physical, mental and emotional injuries sustained by the student.
The 14-year-old’s attorney Mark Boskovich said the heinous crime had left a lasting effect on the boy.
He told the Sacramento Bee: “He is back in the classroom where he had no control of the situation and felt helpless.”
Solis’ 20-year teaching career was cut short when she was sentenced to four years behind bars in July and will have to register as a sex offender.
It comes weeks after a disgraced teacher accused of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old student had allegedly sent thousands of X-rated texts to the victim, a court heard.
Madison Bergmann, 24, who now faces 10 felony charges, bowed her head when the explicit messages were read out loud in an open court.
While testifying in the St. Croix County Circuit Court, Traci Hall, a school resource officer revealed Bergmann and the victim exchanged a staggering 33,000 text messages earlier this year.
She told the court that in some conversations the disgraced teacher even talked about being aroused in the classroom – and how their relationship became more sexual and explicit with time.
The alleged conversations even include several encounters between the accused and the victim during school hours.
The staff revealed the racy texts included the teacher saying she would wear dresses more often as she “liked how he touched her leg”.
Cops arrested Bergmann in May for allegedly “making out” with the fifth-grade student – just three months before her wedding.
