Pete Davidson will star in a Second Netflix Special Titled ‘Turbo Fonzarelli’.
The comedian relaxes on a couch & smokes a cigarette in the black-and-white teaser video before getting up to do his act onstage. “A Netflix comedy special, Pete Davidson is Turbo Fonzarelli,” says a narrator. While fans are ecstatic to see Davidson, the speaker asks, “What the hell is a Turbo Fonzarelli?”
The latest movie, directed by Jason Orley, sees Davidson “deliver about what it means to age up and turn 30, talking about love, life, & living in the woods,” according to the streamer’s synopsis.
Expect Davidson to make fun of his personal life, with incidents ranging from his childhood obsession with Leonardo DiCaprio to a creepy gift from a stalker. And, given the title, a nod or two to Henry Winkler’s Fonzie, also known as Arthur Fonzarelli.
When questioned about turning 30 during a recent Tonight Show visit, the comedian gave a preview of what to expect from the new special. “When you’re 30, if you screw up, you’re simply a drug addict or an adult,” he stated. You might make mistakes in your twenties because others think, “Oh, he’s finding himself.”

Who is behind Pete Davidson Turbo Fonzarelli?
Jason Orley directs and executive produces with Davidson, who has previously collaborated on Davidson’s two prior stand-up efforts and the Hulu dramedy Big Time Adolescence. There’s no clue on where or when it was filmed. But, if we were to speculate, it was most likely in New York, just like his last special.
Davidson is now on the road delivering his standup routine, with stops scheduled around the United States through January 8. He will restart his tour in Minnesota on Friday after canceling several gigs in December due to “unexpected circumstances.”
Davidson most recently demonstrated his on-screen stand-up skills in October, when he returned to SNL as the guest host for the season’s 49 premiere. From 2014 to 2022, he was a regular on the show.
Pete Davidson: Turbo Fonzarelli will be released on Netflix globally on January 9.
