Condoleezza Rice, who was nominated as Secretary of State by then-President George W. Bush, is being encouraged to endorse Vice President Kamala Harris' election bid.

Rice recently spoke with Fox News about an essay in which she argues that "isolationism has never been the answer to the United States’ security or prosperity."

"The world still needs America — and America still needs the world," Rice said in promoting the Fox News appearance on social media.

Former New York Attorney General senior enforcement counsel John Oleske said, "You and [Bush] both have a chance to do something meaningful and good and important and it’s very simple and requires very little of you other than courage."

"You are incredibly privileged and lucky and you will regret it later in life if you miss your chance to be brave now," Oleske said Wednesday.

Tom Logan, who worked for Ronald Reagan, also chimed in:

"If I, GOP for 48 years and also having worked for Pres. Reagan (albeit in a very lower junior capacity), can do it and jeopardized friends/standing, surely you can do it as well and have a much greater impact in this critical election," Logan said.

Former GOP lawmaker Adam Kinzinger, who has endorsed Harris, said, "It’s time to speak up and do more."

"You’re not fighting against 'isolationism.' You’re fighting against Trump and you need to say this out loud," the ex-lawmaker added. "No more straddling the fence, Republicans. You’re for Trump or against him. Pick a side."
