A Japan Airlines airplane was on Tuesday seen in flames on the runway of Tokyo's Haneda Airport.
The cause of the incident was not immediately clear, but media reports said that the plane, which had arrived from Japan's Sapporo Airport, collided with a coastguard aircraft.
The footage showed orange flames coming out of windows and the airplane's nose on the ground as rescue workers sprayed it.
The images also showed the aircraft moving briskly along the runway at the Haneda Airport, one of the world's busiest, before an explosion burst from beneath it.
According to the latest reports, all 379 people on board the plane have been evacuated.
