Polis sinks to desperate new low for Kamala’s attention

Jared Polis is proving there’s nothing more pitiable than a desperate old balding gay Jewish guy struggling for attention to be Kamala Harris’s running mate.

We haven’t seen this level of obsequiousness from Colorado’s governor since, well …

Polis’s news interviews and social media accounts are filled with ridiculous accolades for the Democrats’ presumptive presidential nominee.

Colorado Gov. Jared Polis, asked if he’d accept offer to serve as vp for Harris, quips:

“Look, if they if they do the polling and it turns out that they need a 49-year-old, bald and gay Jew from Boulder, Colorado, they got my number.” @DanaBashCNN: “😆😆. That was very funny.” pic.twitter.com/N2aF5L6D39

Like this claim that Harris made “significant progress” to secure the border, when she and Biden where the ones who obliterated the Trump administration rules and portions of the actual wall that secured the border.

This goes beyond spin and political fibs. Polis’s statement is downright delusional.

We fed it into our fact machine and the contraption imploded and melted into Earth’s core. A priest is on his way to make sure it didn’t accidentally open the gates to Hell.

Here’s what Polis said:

And here’s a handy little chart comparing the Trump era to the Biden-Harris administration.

Democrats launched a full offensive last week to bombard U.S. voters with today’s version of propaganda leaflets.

With political stooges like Polis and a willing media, they are trying to rewrite history and quibble that at no time did Biden ever task Harris with taking the lead on the mass migration crisis at the border, for which she was dubbed “border czar.”

.@POTUS asked me to lead our diplomatic work with Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. To address the situation at the southern border, we have to address the root causes of migration. It won’t be easy work—but it’s necessary.

— Vice President Kamala Harris (@VP) March 25, 2021

Then Polis tries to blame Trump for the resulting crisis because he didn’t endorse Democrats’ so-called bipartisan bill that only one Republican senator supported — Lisa Murkowski of Alaska — who with six Democrats killed Biden’s plan.

The Democrats’ bill would have closed the border only when we reached a seven-day average of 5,000 or more border busters claiming asylum, according to NBC News.

If the number exceeded 8,500 in a single day, there would also be a mandatory border closure.

That’s the deal Dems wanted, plus hundreds of millions of dollars more to allow even more alleged asylum seekers and speed up the open border policy process.

It was a bad deal that served only to give Democrats a hammer with which to nail Republicans in the upcoming elections while keeping the border open.

But the voters were in revolt with Democrats and Republicans demanding a solution to the border crisis. Then miracle of miracles, Biden signed a piece of paper to make it finally stop just last month.

From Politico:

President Joe Biden issued long-expected executive actions on Tuesday to clamp down on migrants seeking asylum, and in doing so set the stage for the U.S. border with Mexico to be shut down between ports of entry at midnight.

The action and accompanying rule from the Biden administration allows the president to suspend asylum claims in between ports of entry when there is an average of 2,500 crossings a day over a seven day period. That threshold, administration officials said, has already been hit over the past week.

For those proficient at math, 2,500 is less than the 5,000 to 8,500 max deal Democrats offered Republicans earlier this year that Trump opposed.

And bonus, we’re not stuck with the administration’s reckless spending proposal to hire thousands more judges and border agents to allow even more migrants with questionable status claims to enter our country under this bastardized asylum program for years until a court date to determine if they were ever even eligible.

And that’s what Polis wants when he calls on Republicans to let Democrats reopen the border at the full flow — before Biden and Harris saw the angry voter poll numbers last month and retreated from their open border policy.
