Poverty rate in Palestine rockets as war knocks Gaza development back to 1955: Report

The poverty rate across the Palestinian territories will almost double in 2024 to 74.3% after months of relentless attacks by Israel on the Gaza Strip, according to a new report by the United Nations development agency that announced the impacts of the war have set back development in the enclave by as much as 69 years.
