80-year-old North Carolina Rep. Virginia Ann Foxx probably left a mark on her legacy by childishly shouting at a reporter who was asking a legitimate question last October, going as far as to tell the journalist to "shut up." Still, she couldn't hush Democratic Rep. Joe Neguse—instead, Foxx feigned memory loss over her vote against WIC funding, along with 190 House Republicans. WIC is a federally funded nutrition program for Women, Infants, and Children, and 190 pro-life Republicans voted against funding it. Neguse was calmly all over that.

"There might be information on food pantries, for example, if a student needed that kind of help," Foxx said without telling anyone to shut up this time. "There might be information on pediatricians who are in the area."

"Let me follow up on the food pantry," the Democratic lawmaker said.

"Anybody can think if you have a baby, what kind of resources do you need?" she said.

"Sure," Neguse said. "With respect to the food pantry, it is a good example. I went online."

"The American Pregnancy Association has a list of financial resources that are available to pregnant mothers to better inform them about the resources that might be available," he continued. "The first item on their list is WIC, Women, Infants and Children Supplemental Fund Program."

"You are familiar with WIC," he asked.

"Yes," Foxx said.
