Professor: Collaboration is the key to realizing nuclear power plants in Indonesia

Pontianak - Professor of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) Prof. Sidik Permana said that collaborative action is one of the important keys to realizing a Nuclear Power Plant (PLTN) in Indonesia.

"So far, we have been working together but the cooperation has not been optimal. Now, it is time for collaboration between all parties to be able to realize a nuclear power plant in Indonesia," he said while attending a focused discussion on the construction of a nuclear power plant in Indonesia, in Pontianak, Tuesday.

According to him, currently, of the 19 aspects based on international standards for the establishment of a nuclear power plant, only three things remain, namely the national position or government commitment, management and support from parties or collaboration.
