Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won’s Queen of Tears has released a new teaser, boosting excitement for the show’s premiere.
The teaser, which follows the present comic tone between the deeper themes of love & married life, shows Kim Soo Hyun’s Baek Hyun Woo struggling with his plan to divorce, given that he is still in love with Kim Ji Won’s Hong Hae In.
Kim Soo Hyun’s voice is heard at the start of the teaser, explaining how he expected married life to be similar to dating; however, it was not. And now that he’s chosen to divorce Kim Ji Won, he can feel his heart racing for her.
Baek Hyun Woo even gets emotional, thinking why he filed for divorce. Kim Soo Hyun’s performance is outstanding throughout. Among the echoing noises, the spotlight shifts to Kim Ji Won’s Hong Hae In, a chaebol princess who is afraid and bound in the past but finds peace in Baek Hyun Woo’s arms.
The teaser hints at secret realities about their marriage and offers a closer look at their relationship, suggesting that it might be more than just a failed marriage. There could yet be hope for love and redemption.

The Cast and Crew of Queen of Tears.
The lead characters in the Netflix K-drama are Kim Soo-Hyun & Kim Ji-won, both famous Korean actors. While the former is well-known for famous K-dramas like It’s Okay Not to Be Okay (2020), Kim Ji-won is noted for her outstanding performances in highly praised series like My Liberation Notes (2022).
Lee Joo-Bin (Be Melodramatic, Find Me in Your Memory, Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area), Park Sung-Hoo (The Glory), Kwak Dong-Yeon (Gangnam Beauty, Vincenzo, & Big Mouth), and round out the cast. The “Queen of Tears” will be released on Netflix on March 9.
