Reeves in Washington: Our Trade With the US Isn’t Actually That Important

Reeves has been in Washington D.C for IMF meetings and has been working on hashing out a trade deal with the US at the same time. In a sign of how that’s going she this morning says the trading relationship isn’t all that important:

“I understand why there’s so much focus on our trading relationship with the US but actually our trading relationship with Europe is arguably even more important, because they’re our nearest neighbours and trading partners.”
