Renowned Iranian Sunni cleric attends introduction ceremony of new governor

The Sunni Friday prayers leader of Iran’s southeastern provincial capital Zahedan, who was previously critical of the Iranian government's handling of the 2022-2023 unrest in the country, attended the introduction ceremony of the first Sunni governor of Sistan and Baluchestan province in the Shia majority country.
