Over the weekend, Ron Johnson was asked some questions by reporter A.J. Bayatpour. One of the questions asked was whether, knowing what he knows now, if RoJo would again refer Trump attorney Jim Troupis to his chief of staff. RoJo responded by telling yet another version of the course of events on that day:

I didn't connect Jim. Jim Troupis called me up and asked if I could help deliver something to the vice-president. That's all I knew. I had no idea. I turned him over to my chief of staff. My chief of staff spent about an hour contacting people, found out that the vice-president wasn't accepting anything and we never delivered them. So my involvement, literally, my involvement, took about a few seconds. That's it. My chief of staff, again, he didn't know what we were being asked to be delivered. Again, one more thing that was blown completely out of proportion here. We have serious issues facing this nation. Again, it just shows the unserious and biased nature of the media. Anybody have like a real question?

Over the course of the past year and a half, ever since the January 6th commission revealed the texts between RoJo's office and that of the vice-president trying to make the exchange of the slates of fake electors, RoJo has only been consistent in being inconsistent with his story regarding his involvement.
