Roof collapse kills 9 members of family in northwest Pakistan

A woman and her eight children were killed in northwest Pakistan when the mud house they were in collapsed due to a fire caused by a short-circuit. The incident occurred in Tahari village, Abbotabad district. Rescue officials, along with local residents, worked to extinguish the blaze and recover the nine bodies. The authorities are investigating the cause of the tragic incident to ensure the safety of other residents. In a similar incident in July, 10 members of a family died when their refrigerator's compressor exploded in Lahore.
