Russia dismisses Wall Street Journal's 'pulp fiction' after Prigozhin death report

The Kremlin accuses the Wall Street Journal of publishing "pulp fiction" after reporting that Yevgeny Prigozhin's death in a plane crash was orchestrated by Nikolai Patrushev. Prigozhin, head of the Wagner mercenary group, had a feud with the defence establishment and died in a plane crash. The Kremlin denies that Prigozhin was killed on Putin's orders. The WSJ report states that Prigozhin's private jet was downed by a small bomb. Patrushev, a former head of the FSB security service, is considered one of Putin's influential advisers.
