A source told RT on Tuesday that more than 300 Ukrainian militants, including foreign trainers, were killed and wounded in a Russian attack targeting the Ukrainian military communications institute in Poltava.
The source indicated that the attack was carried out on the Ukrainian Signal Corps Training Center with two Iskander-M missiles, and the nature of the destruction showed that a missile fell between the third and fourth floors, and the explosion led to the collapse of the roofs of the fourth and fifth floors, but the roof of the building did not collapse.
The source said that the second missile hit the roof of the building from above, causing the roof and ceilings of the fifth, fourth and third floors to collapse.
Earlier on Tuesday, co-chair of the Coordination Council for the Integration of New Russian Regions, Vladimir Rogov, announced that the Russian military had launched a missile strike targeting the Ukrainian Military Institute of Communications in Poltava.
According to the British newspaper The Times, this institute has been one of the most important and effective Ukrainian facilities since the launch of the special military operation in Ukraine.
The Ukrainian RBC news agency reported, citing sources, that a criminal case has been opened against the Ukrainian army after the bombing of the Military Communications Institute in Poltava, on charges of negligence.
