 Ukrainian warplane shot down, enemy losses reach 1,900 soldiers in one day

The Russian Defense Ministry announced today, Monday, that its forces shot down a MiG-29 aircraft belonging to the Ukrainian Air Force, while the total losses of the Ukrainian army during the past day amounted to about 1,900 soldiers.

The Russian Defense Ministry said in its daily report that its air defenses also destroyed 36 enemy drones and intercepted 5 shells from US-made HIMARS rocket launchers.

The following are the most important points included in the Russian Defense Report:

Units of the "North" group of forces struck enemy formations in the Kharkiv region, and Ukrainian losses there reached about 200 servicemen.
Units of the "West" group of forces took control of more favorable positions and targeted enemy formations in Kharkiv, Lugansk and Donetsk, where the Ukrainians lost about 585 soldiers, and 9 Ukrainian field ammunition depots were destroyed.
Units of the "South" group of forces improved their position along the front line and struck enemy forces and military equipment in Donetsk, with enemy losses amounting to about 540 soldiers.
Units of the "Centre" group of forces improved their tactical situation and struck Ukrainian formations in Donetsk, inflicting losses on the enemy of up to 340 servicemen.
Units of the "East" group of forces improved their position along the front line in Donetsk and Zaporozhye, while Ukrainian forces lost about 125 of their soldiers.
Units of the Dnepr group of forces targeted enemy formations in Kherson, with Ukrainian losses there amounting to about 110 servicemen.
Russian forces hit concentrations of Ukrainian army personnel and equipment in 109 areas.
