Rep. James Comer (R-KY), the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, is vowing to file criminal charges against Democratic fundraising machine ActBlue over fraud allegations.
Comer appeared with right-wing podcaster Benny Johnson, who posted to X on Thursday, "Rep. James Comer and the FBI to bring CRIMINAL CHARGES against those behind ActBlue, The Largest Money Laundering Scheme in U.S. history: "We are going forward with our investigation. Their lawyers are leaving… This will be the end of the Democratic Party."
ActBlue is a left-leaning nonprofit organization that says it caters to "small-dollar donors" who want to "transform power structures in our country."

Comer said the "tons and tons and tons" of donations "in $10, $20 increments," are a "red flag" that could point to fraud.
"This thing is just rotten!" Johnson said. "I don't know if we have the direct evidence just yet, but man, you sure can put the pieces together and say that ActBlue must be one of the largest money laundering organs this side of the Biden family."
Comer agreed, saying, "And that's the same way we're going to investigate this, the same way we investigated the Bidens. We're starting with the suspicious activities reports. These are the bank violations. If anyone commits a financial crime, the banks will catch it."
Comer attempted to prove that President Joe Biden and his family were involved in an "influence peddling" scheme, but no solid proof meant nothing came of the investigation. Comer released a book in January about his suspicions.
"We tried to do this before the November election, but the Biden administration would not cooperate with us," Comer told Johnson of the ActBlue probe.
"Have you asked [FBI Director] Kash [Patel]?" Johnson asked. "I know you're very close with Kash. Have you asked him if there's an FBI investigation into this? Do you have any confirmation?"
"I promised Kash I won't talk about our conversations on interviews," Comer said. "But I'll tell you this, I have 100% confidence in Kash Patel. And I just light up when anyone mentions Kash Patel's name! Because I've had to deal with Christopher Wray for the last 2 1/2 years. Kash Patel is a breath of fresh air."
