SEC sues Musk over purchase of deflated Twitter shares

The US Securities and Exchange Commission sued Elon Musk, the world's richest man and a close ally of Donald Trump, alleging in a filing published on Tuesday that the controversial businessman failed to timely submit documentation during his purchase of the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), benefitting him financially.
