Several killed by 'catastrophic winds' as Hurricane Helene surges across southeast US

Three people have been killed in Florida and Georgia as Hurricane Helene continues to sweep across the southeastern United States. The US National Hurricane Center warned of "catastrophic winds" caused by the weakening storm, with Florida governor Ron DeSantis also describing weather conditions as "very dangerous".
