Fellow passengers rushed to help the woman after seeing the man trying to assault her.

They got off the train at the next stop at Oesterfeld station with the man after rescuing the victim.

A physical brawl between the passengers and the attacker then takes place on the platform of the station, allegedly causing him to fall onto the tracks.

He was then hit by an approaching train which left him seriously injured.

The man was rushed to the hospital after the horror incident where one of his arms was cut off during an emergency surgery, SWR reports.

Cops are now investigating CCTV footage from the station to find out the reason behind the physical brawl that led to the accident on suspicion of causing serious bodily harm.

They have also launched an investigation into the sexual harassment done by the Tunisian man.

While his condition has not been reported yet, he is still understood to be in the hospital.

It comes after a man, 60, snatched a one-year-old baby from her grandma’s arms in broad daylight in Lanzarote.

The horror attack happened on Avenida Eugenio Rijo Rocha in Arrecife on Saturday when the kidnapper, a Czech national approached the woman holding her granddaughter.

Meanwhile, a teenage girl, 14, was allegedly gang-raped by up to 12 boys aged 11 to 16 over the Easter break.

Five of the suspects are said to have attacked the victim in the forest after her boyfriend lured her there following a day at a fair.
