The platform boasts features such as 100,595 land plots across four tiers, customizable avatars, and immersive experiences. These land plots, sold between 0.2 ETH and 1 ETH, can be minted as NFTs, giving owners opportunities for passive income. Early access began after a long delay, with the full launch expected in 2024 or 2025.

Today, Shiba Inu, the community-driven force behind the globally recognized SHIB token, leads the charge on this transformative journey, mirroring the audacious spirit of those who came before,

Shiba Inu’s Metaverse — Inspired by Apple and Netflix

Drawing inspiration from companies like Apple and Netflix, the metaverse aims to redefine how people interact and build communities online. Through interactive experiences, the platform bridges the digital and physical worlds. Users can create expressive spaces on their virtual land, offering a new dimension of individuality and creativity.

A major highlight is the appointment of entertainment veteran Marcie Jastrow as the metaverse advisor. Her expertise has contributed to the introduction of over 10 hubs, serving as focal points in this digital realm. These hubs will likely play a central role in community-building and content creation.

The metaverse not only expands the Shiba Inu ecosystem but also underscores the transformative power of decentralized communities. While it remains unclear when the complete platform will launch, the current early access phase hints at what’s to come.

Shiba Inu — From Memecoin to Utility Player

Initially branded as a memecoin, SHIB’s transition into a utility token has been bolstered by this metaverse project. Shibarium, the layer-2 solution powering the ecosystem, ensures scalable transactions and an interactive environment. The project’s philosophy focuses on empowering users to create, explore, and define their digital spaces.

Economic engagement is also a key aspect. By owning land, users can generate income and access unique rewards. The metaverse’s framework is designed to question traditional notions of ownership, governance, and value in the digital space. As the metaverse gains traction, Shiba Inu continues to make waves in other areas.

However, according to Shibburn, 898,247 SHIB tokens were burned over the past 24 hours, declining the daily burn rate by 87.43%. Meanwhile, SHIB’s price battles resistance at $0.00002380, last touched on Dec. 21. At the time of writing, it trades at $0.00002337, hinting at a possible breakout.
