In the middle of his performance, one female fan – said to be in her 20s – tried to climb up the stage to join the singer and dance with him.
However, she was furiously tackled by Turner’s wife Natasha Rayner, who blocked the woman from getting up on stage before shoving her off into the ground.
The fan was soon rushed to Cairns Hospital where an official confirmed the woman was in stable condition.
She was reportedly discharged shortly.
Turner revealed his wife “acted out of instinct” and was “distraught” about the incident.
The rapper told Cairns Post: “No one should rush a stage and the young girl, everyone felt for, but my wife reacted out of instinct.
“I shut the show down to get her medical attention and physically put her in an ambulance. I then also attended to my distraught wife.”
Turner is a popular name in Australia’s rap community who became popular after releasing his debut album Women Weed & Wordplay in October 2018.
He then released his second album The Octagon – and it made it to number 2 on the ARIA Album Chart.
The rapper also won the Best Independent Hip Hip Album at the Aria Awards for The Octagon.
The incident comes after Noughties garage star Mike Skinner looked unrecognisable as he toured Australia rocking a huge beard.
The rapper and singer-songwriter shot to fame in the early 2000s as the lead vocalist of The Streets, a UK garage collective originating from Birmingham.
45-year-old Mike looked unrecognisable as he took to TikTok to show off his new bearded look and his grown-out locks, worlds apart from his usual buzz cut and shaved beard.
Fans took to the app to comment on the music star’s video, with one user saying: “Love the beard!”
Another added: “ We just want UK Garage anthems again.”
The Tik Tok post showed Mike in Australia doing a skit of him supposedly cancelling his tour, this featured the star in various locations, such as the beach and in the studio with the tour resuming in the end.
The Streets are touring Australia this month with five big shows, including headlining the Golden Plains festival, promising to deliver an incredible live show experience.
The group includes other instrumentalists such as Robert Harvey, Leo the Lion and Kevin Mark Trail.
