Iswaran, Singapore's former transport minister of Indian origin, no longer faces corruption charges but will be prosecuted for five other counts including obtaining valuable items as a public servant and obstructing justice. With the prosecution dropping charges under the Prevention of Corruption Act, Iswaran is expected to plead guilty. He was earlier granted SGD 800,000 bail.
