Sunak’s headache over his D-Day dodge is not set to go away any time soon. Ian Acheson, a leading adviser to Michael Gove has quit the Tory party over Rishi Sunak’s “cynical” decision to leave D-Day commemorations early. Ian, who has advised the communities secretary on extremism wrote in a damning letter seen by The Telegraph:
