Taiwan identifies eight Chinese balloons

Taiwan's Defence Ministry reported the highest number of Chinese balloons near the country. China considers Taiwan its own territory and has conducted military drills around the self-ruled island. In February, the United States shot down a Chinese surveillance balloon. The new balloon sightings occurred after Taiwan's presidential election.
