The boulder, roughly the size of a lorry itself, completely crushed the truck.
Within a split second, another rock falls on the truck recording the horrific accident from behind, leaving the vehicle completely crushed.
This is followed by a bunch of smaller rocks rolling down the hill and blocking the road in the area infamous for such incidents.
A second footage shows the actions of the shocked driver as he promptly takes off his seatbelt and jumps out of the cabin of the truck before it is slammed by the rockfall.
While both truck drivers miraculously survived the deadly incident, the cargo of their trucks was destroyed completely.
The road was heavily damaged and blocked by the landslide, so much so, it took it took authorities around four hours to clear the section of the mountain road.
Images of the aftermath show dozens of huge rocks littering the highway alongside the wreckage of the two crushed lorries.
One picture shows the wheel of one truck lying on the road with other crushed parts.
Officials speculate heavy rainfall destabilised the ground in the area that led to the horrific landslide.
They are currently investigating the incident.
One of the locals present at the scene said: “The lorry driver’s reaction was very quick, I think I would have frozen.”
Watching the clip of the accident, one viewer said: “When it’s not your turn [to die]…”
Another wrote: “Another reason to always wear your seatbelt,” wrote someone else.”
