The Cleaning Lady Season 4 Renewed With A “Huge Change”!

The Cleaning Lady Season 4 is confirmed at Fox, but there will be huge change. From the looks of it – Elodie Yung’s gripping drama series is all set for yet another season and fans cannot stop gushing about her stellar performance!

Fox’s most popular crime series ‘The Cleaning Lady has been renewed for a fourth season and according to Deadline, the upcoming series would reportedly have 12 episodes in the fourth season.

Going forward with this piece of information, the developers of the series Miranda Kwok and Jeannine Renshaw will not be returning for the fourth season in their capacities.

What Is “The Cleaning Lady” About?

The crime thriller series is based on an Argentine series called La Chica Que Limpia – whilst the English version stars the impressive legendary star Elodie Yung (known for Daredevil) as she portrays Thony De La Rosa – the protagonist, the heart of the series.

Fox describes the series as a story of empowerment, resilience, and the human spirit as it asks everyone if all the ends justify the means. Thony is a former surgeon practicing in the Philippines but is currently in Las Vegas on an expired visa with her young son Luca.

Given that she is unable to practice her profession, for which she had taken up training in the United States, Thony resorts to taking up a role as a cleaning lady.

If things didn’t already look bleak before, everything instantly seems to change Thony’s world when she witnesses a gruesome crime thus finding herself forcibly and horribly trapped as she is dragged into the criminal underworld.

Here, she lives a new life as a crime scene cleaner and a doctor – whilst consistently providing for her son and protecting him from the aftermath of the events, that is, her new career.

The crime series is currently airing its third season with a two-hour-long finale that is all set to air on May 21st.

The series stars Sebastien and Valentino LaSalle, Eva de Dominici, Kate Del Castillo, Santiago Cabrera, Sean Lew, and Faith Bryant in addition to Elodie Yung and Adan Canto (the latter had played Arman Morales, Thony’s protector in the crime world, but due to his real-life passing).
