The percentage of homosexuals continues to increase in the United States, reaching a record level of 7.6%, according to the latest poll conducted by the American “Gallup” organization.
Gallup said in the results of a 2023 survey that if the current increase continues, the number of the gay and transgender community (LGBTQ) in the United States may reach 10% within three decades.
Gallup said that the percentage of American adults who consider themselves gay and transgender has doubled since the organization first conducted a poll on the subject in 2012.
Gallup indicated that each young generation has the possibility of nearly doubling the percentage of homosexuals in it compared to the previous generation.
The foundation found that parents' ideology plays an important role in teens' mental health.
The Foundation confirmed that one in 5 adults between the ages of 18 and 26 years in 2023 consider themselves gay and transgender, and one in 10 of those between the ages of 27 and 42 consider themselves gay and transgender.
