Also, season 2 will dive into the fourth and fifth volumes, “Seasons of Mists” and “A Game of You.” Netflix has confirmed the show’s return, and Neil Gaiman is considering spin-offs to expand the magical world of the Dream series.

The Sandman Season 2 Adds Nine New Cast Members To Its List!
Firstly, Redanian Intelligence shared that three new cast members are joining The Sandman Season 2: Wil Coban from Netflix’s The Boys in the Boat and Cursed, Andre Flynn from The Musketeers and Jamestown, and Joel Burman from the musical Sunshine on Leith.
Next, in the list, we have Gavin Spokes who joins the cast as Jeremy. You might recognize him as Lyonel Strong from the first season of House of the Dragon. Also, you can catch him in Netflix’s Scooplater this year too.
Next, we have Kayode Akinyemi, the latest addition to our cast, taking on the role of Kris. You might recognize him from Netflix’s Vikings: Valhalla or other films such as The Legend of Tarzan and Collide. Kris could be a brand new character or operating under a secretive codename.
Next, we have Daniel Hoffmann-Gill will portray the character named Guillaume. His past projects include The Nevers, Django, and Doctor Who.
Next, in the cast list, we have Tafline Steen. She’ll be playing Xantho, a character from Greek mythology, probably a maenad. Before, Steen was in TV series like Miss Scarlet and the Duke and Father Brown.
Then, we have Jordan Adenewho will play the role of Donnie Capax, possibly a variation of Danny Capax from the comics. Adene’s role may offer insight into the adaptation of specific comic storylines.
Lastly, we have Paul Brennenwho will play the role of Captain Carnot, a character not found in Neil Gaiman’s comics, indicating an original addition to the series. Brennen’s previous projects include The One, The Long Shadow, and A Discovery of Witches.

What To Expect From The Sandman Season 2?
The next season of The Sandman will focus on Destruction, a mysterious character and the younger brother of Destiny, Death, and Dream. Destruction is also the older sibling of Desire, Despair, and Delirium.
Destruction, unlike the other Endless, often neglects his duties and realm. In the upcoming season, we’ll learn about Morpheus’ history with Nada, whom he cursed to hell ten thousand years ago.
There’s a rumor that Corinthian, previously destroyed by Morpheus, will return in the second season to restore balance in nature. Like before, the second season will have bonus episodes at the end, showcasing both familiar and new characters.
