These generals who committed war crimes, those who gave orders, and those who physically committed them will be punished with the strongest punishment according to international law, as well as the strongest punishment according to domestic law."
RFA called the spokesperson for the military council regarding this report, but there was no response.
Former military officials said that the increase in airstrikes by the Military Council was to save military power and make it more effective.
The Chairman of the Military Council, General Min Aung Hlaing, said that air power was effectively used in suppressing the armed conflict that arose after the coup in 2023. He spoke on December 15.
