A video clip published by the Al-Qassam Brigades showed two rocket launchers bearing the tag “Ramadan Flood.” Two masked men confirmed in the video that the war in Gaza would not distract them from “victory for Al-Aqsa.”
Al-Qassam Brigades, the military arm of Hamas, showed in a video clip published on Monday two rocket launchers bearing the tag “Ramadan Flood.”
The first stoner carried a paper bearing the tags “The Flood of Ramadan,” “The Stoner of the Martyr Uday Al-Tamimi,” and the Battle of “The Flood of Al-Aqsa,” while the other bore the name “The Stoner of the Martyr Khairy Alqam.”
The two launchers, filled with missiles, also held up a paper with the date written on it, March 7, 2024, indicating the time the video clip was filmed.
A masked Phalange fighter appeared in the clip, saying: “This stoner is in the balance of the good deeds of the martyr Khairy Alqam.”
Then another masked person appeared saying: “This stoner is in the balance of the martyr Uday Al-Tamimi.”
He added: "We have not forgotten the blood of the martyrs, our prisoners, and our people in Jerusalem, the West Bank, and the lands of 1948."
He continued: "Waging this battle will not distract us from winning for your lives."
He added: “You who shook Tel Aviv with your martyrdom, today you are shaking it after your martyrdom, so the eyes of the cowards have not slept.”
On October 20, 2022, Palestinian Uday Al-Tamimi (22 years old) was martyred by Israeli occupation army gunfire at the entrance to a settlement near the city of Jerusalem, after carrying out a shooting attack on October 8 of the same year, at the Shuafat military checkpoint. It resulted in the death of female soldier Noa Lazar, and the serious injury of another.
In January 2023, Khairy Alqam (21 years old) carried out a shooting attack in front of a Jewish synagogue in the “Nabi Ya’qub” settlement, north of Jerusalem, which then resulted in the killing of 7 people, the martyrdom of the perpetrator of the operation, and the wounding of at least 6 others.
