Thousands protest in Belgrade to demand elections annulled

Thousands gathered in Belgrade to demand the annulment of unfair parliamentary and local elections. The ruling Serbian Progressive Party won with an unfair advantage through media bias and voting irregularities. Protesters tried to break into the Belgrade town hall where the local election commission is based. Police fired pepper spray and some protesters climbed the building, breaking windows. The opposition alliance Serbia Against Violence came second in the election. Anti-riot police later pushed protestors away from the town hall.
