THREE Brits were injured when a wild party involving seven Thai sex workers turned into a knife battle in a row over payment.
One man, 23, was recovering in hospital in Phuket earlier today after being stabbed with a kitchen knife following the 4am clash in a rented villa.
A British man, 23, recovers in hospital after being caught up in an altercation with sex workers in Thailand[/caption]It is thought it occurred after the sex workers — including three ladyboys — claimed to be short-changed.
Damage worth £6,000 was caused in the rumpus.
Neighbours filmed as a man was knifed in the back, and another slashed, as they bundled a naked sex worker into the street.
The sex worker fled clutching a blade before one man hit them over the head with a bin.
A car parked outside the villa then rammed a group of people.
Video taken inside showed the floor littered with broken glass and the walls spattered with blood.
The neighbour who took the clip said: “It was like World War Three.
“Everything was being thrown around. I wanted to get a helmet for my own safety.”
Police said the violence, in the Kata district, erupted after the seven sex workers had been invited back to the villa by a seven-strong group of friends from the Manchester area.
One complained they had been paid only 2,000 baht — £44 — half what they had been expecting.
They grabbed a wallet to get the rest, triggering the bust-up.
Three sex workers were also hurt in the fight.
Today, a police chief was filmed visiting the knifed 23-year-old who told him: “My stomach hurts . . . I need stitches.”
Police captain Surasak Sudmuang said the Brits initially promised to pay the three transgender sex workers 4,000 baht each.
He added: “There was a disagreement and the altercation began.
“We do not have the details of everybody involved in the case and we have not charged anybody yet.
“The prostitutes told us that the tourists started the fight.
“We must check both sides of the dispute.”
