Tourist helicopter crash in the Alps kills three as three rescued survivors taken to hospital

THREE tourists have died in a horror helicopter crash in the Swiss Alps.

Another three survivors have also been raced to hospital.

Three people have been killed in a helicopter smash[/caption]

Helicopter owner Air Glaciers, who was also involved in the rescue efforts, told local media: “We are deeply shocked by this event. Our thoughts are with the families and relatives of the victims.”

Swiss authorities have launched a probe into the accident.
