On Saturday, former US President Donald Trump attacked current President Joe Biden, describing him as the worst president in the history of the United States, while the latter warned that his “troubled” Republican rival poses a threat to American democracy.
In his speech before the annual conference of the National Rifle Association in Dallas, Texas, Trump said that Biden "is the worst president in the history of our country," describing his Democratic rival as a man "full of bullshit."
Provoking their laughter, Trump warned the audience that Biden wanted to deprive them of their firearms, and addressed the current president: “You're fired, get out of here, Joe!”
Trump accused his rival of fraud and described him as a "threat to democracy."
For his part, Biden responded on Saturday to Trump's statements, saying: "My opponent is not a good loser. But he is a loser," adding to a number of his supporters in the state of Georgia: "Our democracy is truly at stake."
After describing it as turmoil, Biden said that “something happened to Trump after the 2020 elections,” which he became obsessed with losing, as he put it.
