For the past four years, Trump and his faithful lapdog, Senator Ron Johnson, has been anti-vaccine and has been continuously pushing for alternative treatments, such as Ivermectine or Hydroxychloroquine. Rightfully, he has been called out on it time and time again. He even was suspended from You Tube for spreading his COVID disinformation.
Now, a recent reports indicates that the scientists and the doctors were correct. At least one of their favorite alternatives - Hydroxychloroquine - may have been rersponsible for up to 17,000 deaths:
The anti-malaria drug was prescribed to some patients hospitalized with COVID-19 during the first wave of the pandemic, "despite the absence of evidence documenting its clinical benefits," the researchers point out in their paper, published in the February issue of Biomedicine & Pharmacotherapy.
Now, researchers have estimated that some 16,990 people in six countries — France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Turkey and the U.S. — may have died as a result.
