Trump Threatens To Indict Biden If He's Not Given Presidential Immunity

Morning Joe created a supercut (above) to contrast the remarkable difference between Biden's and Trump's speech this week. There is just no question about who the adult in the room is. And to confirm that, Trump took to his struggling Truth Social platform to once again blame President Biden for all of his woes. It's all Joe's fault that Trump repeatedly broke the law (allegedly!). Trump has been desperately trying to claim presidential Immunity for a while, but the twice-impeached one-termer hasn't thought this out. If Trump is given Immunity, then Biden and every other President can claim Immunity, too, while running the United States like a crime syndicate. That's what we're trying to avoid.

But Trump, being Trump, used that as a threat. It makes sense to nearly all of us that no Commander In Chief should ever be able to claim Presidential Immunity, but here we are. And, by the way, Trump's post follows the news that he raked millions from foreign governments, including China, while President.

"I will be attending the(sic) the Federal Appeals Court Arguments on Presidential Immunity in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday," he allegedly wrote. "Of course I was entitled, as President of the United States and Commander in Chief, to Immunity. I wasn't campaigning, the Election was long over. I was looking for voter fraud, and finding it, which is my obligation to do, and otherwise running running our Country."
